- have sense to use NVG and flashbangs to make blind enemys with nvg inside buildings
Good tactical feature to toggle lights in houses/buildings, for cqb etc.
add few momery points in house model (1-switcher 2-light binded to switcher)
add simple texture or simple model for switcher
add action toggle light, somewhere near doors (as in real life)
Make light brokeable by bullets
Add electric unit inside/outside building (optional)
This is a thing I wanted to write about to but luckily it already exists.
For me the most important thing in this theme is that the lights are brokeable by bullets and explosives. This would be a really important feature because it would allow new tactics. For an example in multiplayer at night you would be able to make whole villages unable to see for helicopters without night vision.
I support this. "Fallout: New Vegas" had a mod that added light switches to buidlings. It was awesome.
Good idea. It should be modular, though. For example, if you want to have a post-apocalyptic mission, you should be able to disable all lights.
