I have the same issue. The only way to stop running is switching to my sidearm using the middle mouse button.

dubble tap CAPS often helps, if its like "walking like in a March kind of way"

its quite random at times, game often crash during that

I had this while playing co-op mission was not very helpful to my team couldn't fix it so respawned
