I know that other people wish to do this and the only current way to do it is change it in profile files for now.

This is honestly extremely important to me, as messing up the way scopes work is really a bad tradeoff for me to simply be able to avoid nausea from the painfully small FOV of the ArmA series. I really do hope it gets put in.

my recommendation in the meantime: get headtracking.
beats triple monitors and high fov imho.

Ok this is interesting, because one of your other developers implied it was a design-choice to not have a FOV setting.

It's a little disconcerting to see the differences in stances from developers on certain issues, could you guys sit around a table and talk about what you should all say before saying something? It feels like you're all designing different games sometimes!

We NEED this! People get nauseous from default FOV's. Not putting in this setting can literally make people sick. Additionally,for a game where situational awareness is paramount it's odd to have such a narrow FOV.
