I am unable to change any option in the difficulty menu, I have tried to access the menu from the main menu, the editor, in a mission etc. without any luck. When you hit ok and go back to the game it just reverts to regular difficulty.

go into options > game > difficulty and change anything you like, hit ok, and then go back to the difficulty menu.

was able to turn off camera shaking yesterday, but i have absolutely no clue how i did it.

today I was able to change the difficulty through the config file. to do this go to: My documents>Arma 3 Alpha and open (your username).Arma3AlphaProfile in notepad. then change the values to your liking.

Confirmed. Difficulty settings are not changeable through the UI but through direct config changes. Seems like a regression from first data update on friday. Verifyed by temporarily opting out of the beta program.

Confirmed here also. Cannot change difficulty in game at all. Always stays as Regular no matter what I do in game.

Same issue here. I found out that this problem is only present if you're running the development build of the game. Opting out of the development build allows me to change options.

Yes, to change difficulty, one can opt out of beta, restart game, change difficulty, exit game, and re-enable beta.
