Randomly my sound will buzz and screech very loudly. I wear headphones and when the game does this I worry that it my blow my headphones. Its seriously so loud it has made me jump out of my seat.

This could be an issue with your sound card. Get to testing loud-volume .flak s on your machine. Your headset also might not like the high quality sound. Try to troubleshoot before you submit a bug, thanks.

This happens for me as well in combination with my personal weapon sounds not making any noise. @Ph1294, can you try not to come off as such a pretentious twat, fairly certain it is not a sound card issue considering every other game I run has no issues.

You sure it's not the crack sound that comes when a projectiled is fired towards you, and that happens IRL too. If not sounds like a serious issue.

Same issue here, it seems like the game is missing a lot of sounds and attempts to loop specific sound sets; every once in a while it fails to overlay properly and makes a ripping sound.
Contradictory to what the above posts have said I think it's those with good sound cards who get this problem where higher quality demands better overlay.

I am sure it isn't a sound card issue because I use this headset in Arma II OA and it works without a hitch aside from not having 5.1 surround sound in Arma II i love it. Otherwise the sounds just occur randomly.
