When going prone at a 90° angle to a slope (or less but it's easier to see it that way) the character gets deformed. To see what I mean, go prone in third person and look at the shoulders of the character.

In third person, go prone and watch the shoulders of the character.
Mass closing ancient tickets with no activity this year; assume fixed or too trivial etc.
If this issue is still relevant in current dev build, please create a new ticket referencing this one and request for it to be re-opened.
