Description

I recall many a mission in Arma 2 which had players start on opposite corners of the map (+5min heli ride sized maps) and objectives were placed somewhere along the middle... usually a town or such.

Well this means both sides are bringing helicopters, planes (later for A3 hopefully), tanks... lots of explody things!

Could plums of smoke and such be added for large explosions / fires that can be seen from a distance? Obviously it would need to be rendered in such a way that fps dont flat-line. {F17433} {F17434} {F17435}

YOU CAN DO THAT JUST PLACING A COUPLE OF VEHICLES/UNITS AN ADDING THIS IN THE INIT FIELD:
this setdamage 1 THE VEHICLE OR UNIT WILL BE DEAD AND BURNING IF HAS AMMO/FUEL (IN CASE OF VEHICLES). YOU WILL GET THE DESIRED EFFECT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.

Peter you didn't get it.

It would be quite revolutionary as there is no landscape-SkyBox feature in Arma that I am aware of.

I added another picture relating to "evidence of battle". It's a picture of craters left by bombs or artillery. These types of craters kinda exist already when a plane crashes except they are above ground.

Currently explosive devices only produce a large decal. Could craters be added to ordnance and large explosives? Preferably below ground craters rather than current above ground ones? and that's a road going through the middle so those are quite large craters fyi.

The fact that water is in the craters is irrelevant. That would be a nice feature but i am not interested in that.

and??? BIS, why you are making you work harder - i just dont get t. You have pretty mess in tickets - some are revieved, some are acknowledge bud if you were processed ticket by your team and decided not apply it, please close this tickets, or at leas write whats the status. Acknowledge - Do the same, how we can know what you decided? Do you have lack of peoples here? I can do that for free for some time as i have lot of free time now (very lot), if you will give me info what you decided and in short why.
