Helicopter rotors don't impact with buildings, objects, trees, etc.

Description

This is a visual and immersion aspect that the game needs to keep, like in the previous games of the series. The blades currently go through anything, but when you cut through something with it the damage slowly builds. Not sure of the actual time needed but somewhere in the ~12 sec region.

Sparks, heavy damage, and some physics should knock the helicopter around quite a bit when an impact occurs. At minumum it needs heavier dmg.

It's odd though, because I remember accidentally driving a Hunter through the rotors of a parked/landed AH-9, which caused them to promptly disappear and the helicopter to explode. I have yet to try colliding the rotors with other objects like you have described.

i will say though, the dev's shouldn't go overboard fixing this because it is leaps and bounds better than in A2 where slightest scratch caused an explosion

Rotor blades are the most delicate component of any helicopter. If you waltz into a small tree with your cabin then you shouldn't suffer too much damage. But if you hit a wall with your rotor blade, you're toast. But since Arma3 vehicle damage is based on HP's (which is lame in itself, but that's a different problem) it might be difficult to do.

However, I still say do it right: if there's no skill involved in low level ground hugging (which is kinda essential for piloting any attack/recon chopper) then it just isn't challenging and fun.

So make up your bloody mind - on one hand ppl go nuts over things like "omg we are running too fast!" but still want to bounce of buildings and trees in their choppaz.

And to top it off, I want to be able to cut people 28-weeks-later style.

I'd prefer an option though, it might get too hard for many people who don't have much experience of piloting in Arma.

@Devs: please look at GTA and Prototype, this gave have a very good heli rotors collisions and objects interaction

This has been fixed.
