I'm obviously not talking about ArmA 2 aircraft ejecting system which is highly unrealistic, but about a feature that exists in many RL helicopters: jettisonable door, allowing pilots to eject at low altitude.

That would avoid some stupid death, per example when you hit water at low speed and die, trapped in your chopper...

Anyways this is due the fact that parachutes are not yet implemented, therefore the eject action is not enabled in the current version.
This applies to "water landings ejection" too
Also there are very few helos in "real life" that you can eject from and none of which are in this game ;)
Very few ? Read my PDF's pages 10 and 11. I'm sure Ka-60 has this feature too.
As said before i'm not requesting a parachute eject feature which is not realistic on a large number of helos (except Ka-50/52), but a eject options for low alt/speed emergency situations.
Opening the door is generally faster.
The only time I can imagine a door EJECT function coming into play is when you're already underwater and the pressure would be keeping it closed which, if it were modeled, would be quite a nice feature.
I don't see any reasons why it would be faster, since jettison function dissociate the door from the helicopter; opening door could hinder the crew, or be difficult in case of hull distortion.
Anyway, these are useless details.. I agree with u about the underwater thing.

But yes! People need to GTFO sometimes, please add this feature!!!!
on the sh-60 all doors and windows on the helo are able to be pushed out while helo is flying it is there so that in the situation where helo is gonna go down in water for example all crew memebers have a chance to swim out..... how do I know this? I was in the navy for 5 years and I worked on sh-60's
