Unable to select class in role assignment menu .. name remains highlighted gray
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I am unable to select a class in the role assignments menu prior to entering matches. I click and double click on every empty role slot and my name remains highlighted gray. I can't choose a class on either team. I have a Thomson router and other gamers are having connection issues with this same brand of modem. Are there tcp/utp ports to open?

Having switched routers, the problem no longer exists.

Same problem here with easybox router

Please let us know in note section if you are still able to reproduce this issue in latest Developement build.

I am no longer able to reproduce this bug reported earlier. This particular connection issue does not exist in the latest game build.

I'm still experiencing this issue on both the stable and development builds.

I was able to select a class just fine after reinstalling Windows 7. However, the problem returned after a few days. Maybe a Windows update is causing it?

This issue was processed by our team and will be looked into. We thank you for your feedback.

Update: I found a temporary workaround for the problem. If you disconnect from the server then quickly reconnect, you should be able to select a slot.

(And just as a note I'm using an Apple Airport Extreme router. Also, disabling the Windows Firewall doesn't fix the issue. Here's a DxDiag report from my machine if it's at all useful: http://pastebin.com/K94n900f).

Edit:

Looks like disabling DMZ mode on my router may have fixed the problem. Does anyone else have DMZ mode enabled? Try turning it off.

@Astaroth I've checked - it's resolved. Ticket can be closed.
