In case of random crashes, please install latest graphic and sound drivers. Usage of driver cleaner before installing new drivers will make sure you have no corrupted drivers left on your computer.

Yesterday I updated my Nvidia graphics drivers to the latest beta version and that seems to have fixed the problem.

I have the same problem now. From the beginning I have been able to play on pretty much every server I wanted to. But today (09.03.2013) I am not able to. No changes had been made to the system. Downloaded the newest graphicsdriver 3.14-beta just eliminate that problem, but no changes. I will continue to investigate this problem meanwhile.

Edit: This seems mainly to be on Wasteland servers. Most probably the amount of vehicles and other objects that cause this problem. Now they are currently on v.1.05. Might take this up with 404games.co.uk?

I know they redused the amount of vehicles on their own wastelandserver to reduce the "hangrate.(It worked. 5+3 hours playtime no hang yesterday)" Don't know what they did this night to make it worse.

getting the crash frequently after loading the mission,
reseting custom video settings to high helps for a few gaming sessions,
after that the crash on loading returns.

make sure to use custom install of driver and manually check CLEAN INSTALL this should help
