When I try to join a multiplayer server, I get sent to the loadingscreen and all sounds top. Nothing happens for about 10 seconds and I get sent back to the server browser with an error message saying "Connecting failed"

Steps To Reproduce
This happens every time I join a multiplayer server.

I have tried the following: Restarting computer and arma
create my own server (Whcih worked but I can't join other servers)
Allowing arma 3 to go thru the firewall both in public and "home networks"
Router firewall is turned off.
I also have UAC completley turned off.
The first time I tried to join a multiplayer server, I got to the character selection screen, but the server wasn't playing yet and I couldn't press the OK button. After about 2 minutes, I disconnected from the server. The next time I tried to join a server, this happned and I have not been able to join servers since then.

I found another issue report about the same issue and suggests that this has something to do with thomson routers which is what I have. That is most likley the problem

This is still happening for me in the latest build, but not as often as it used to in alpha. I also don't think that the router is related to the problem, since my brother is behind the same router as me (also it's a TP-Link, not Thomson) and when one of us encounters a server where connecting fails, usually the other can join that server without a problem.

I have the same issue when I want to connect to the sever of my brother. And when I make a server he gets the same message.
I can join other servers. Is there more information on making a server like firewall settings, debug possibilities and such?
