Whenever the AI is on a bridge and a firefight starts, the AI just starts spining and not shooting.

Place a group on the Main city on Startis, tell them to walk on a bridge (waypoints) and start a firefight (move in troops, shoot in the air (not sure)) most will start spining.

AI have always, ALWAYS, gone crazy on elevated terrain such as setpositioned objects. Bridges, piers, dams, etc. It's existed from OFP and I probably one of the lowest priorities to BIS. Too bad though.

Not sure whether this should be considered the same issue as #0002887.

Generally, it's better to consolidate related issues into a single report and get them voted higher. (Higher vote count means it gets more dev attention.)

I'll leave this one up to the reporter.

Hmm, yep, it is the same issue. This one was posted before the issue number you give above. Wouldn't hurt to merge them together, if possible.

With the other related ticket resolved I decided to try this out and can confirm that the AI will now fight on bridges. (Both infantry and vehicles.)

Mass closing resolved tickets from last month.
