Have you ever tried to use smoke in real game situations?

I was sniping recently in Svetloyarsk, made 1st shot from 500m but missed, the guy was on the top of police station building (I had an acog x4).
He used red smoke to get back safely inside the building. If I was the dev I would be like "wow, great, players use smoke as intended".... But there's a catch.

The smoke provided 0 cover, it only marked his location : "you missed? Well here's a smoke to mark my position, you can try more".

For example in PUBG battle strategies are built from the smoke alone. Having something similar to that smoke in Dayz would bring a lot of new strategies too.

It would be nice to have 2 smokes on you, and when you're in the open field you know that at least for a short time they will give you proper wall of smoke.
In reality - you just make snipers life easier by marking your position. Current smoke is perfect for that, but having smoke for cover would be great too.

You already have the models, think only new particles and some script mod is required, but it may be more than that, you should know better.

This is highly needed, just make different ptc. please.
You can swap smokes you have or add new item if you want to keep this "signal" ones
