Event Timeline
I assume the main desire here is to reduce the amount of RPG's the average soldier can carry and in doing so nerf the RPG spam a bit? I think backpack re-balancing would be a solid start, US could use some tweaks as well, namely the Alice pack should be able to hold one or two LAWs.
Frankly i think the bigger issue is just how quick you can Load an RPG and fire it. Slow down the reload and draw animation a bit, and safety cap/tab should be added to the animations. If we really want to get into the weeds we could also look at how wind effects accuracy or booster pack integration.
I agree with Yamachinu, I think these are the ways to limit the power of the RPG - but it should nonetheless remain the much superior weapon to the LAW. It's a great idea to allow the ALICE to carry an extra LAW or two as well.
It's one of the few really frustrating parts of the game. I believe they are overperforming, not just comparative to their real-life usage, but also in simpler emergent player behaviour: they are so effective that it's not uncommon to see Soviets use it in preference of their assault rifles not just at close range but also at 2-300 metres.
