Ever since around the time "Old Man" / Contact was released ARMA 3 has been broken. Upon starting the game you will be met with nags/errors about missing "Old Man" assets. This also breaks the ability to save games making the campaign unplayable as any time you load a save it will complain about missing or changed addons. i.e. the Old Man assets are not found...
So the base game has a hard coded dependency for DLC assets users may not have that breaks basic functionality.
For reference the only DLC I have is:
- Art of War Charity Pack
- Malden
- Zeus
