Description

Thank you very much for your report.

I think you know the problems with Terrainbuilder.
· Deleted layers reappear in the terrain builder
· Buildings are thus duplicated on the map
· ID's of the buildings are not recreated when moving from one layer to another, the old ID ́s are overwritten / thus the WRP is no longer clean. Navmesh crash
· Deleted objects reappear sporadically after saving
· Search function: (if in it again) please include option to close all categories, it's a cramp to close every single one 40 categories with about 10000 items
· Add the corresponding patch notes (Discord / Steam / Twitter) to each update. Gladly also as a text document with date and build version, just so that we modders can understand what to expect. It is always a pleasure to experience a nasty surprise
· This also makes sense for rollback, as a backup is automatically created by the terrain builder during an update to avoid possible lengthy repairs (currently since 1.26 4 weeks)
· More technical information about changes in the World.config.
· Currently there is no information about the upcoming vehicle update, we don't know what needs to be changed where and how (and it should be published soon)
·
In general, the source files should be cleaned up, there is still data from 2001 from Operation Flashpoint in the files that are not needed / not available.

It would make sense to document all changes in which folder these changes are located. It is very time-consuming to filter everything out of the files. You would be very accommodating to the DayZ modding community and yourself. Because a lot of it is self-explanatory. But unfortunately, no one really sees through it that way. I dread every DayZ patch because I don't know what to expect. And I don't just speak for myself.
And I guarantee you, what you got to hear from the map modders after the 1.26 will also come with the 1.27 from the vehicle modders. You don't make it easy for yourselves.

DayZ is unfortunately a game that conveys a great atmosphere, gives a reasonably good basis to have a great gaming experience, but unfortunately the cooperation of the devs with the community (modders) does not fit. Forget that the modders have revived the game.

This text will be translated into English with a translator.

Sorry for the clear words, maybe it will help us all

With this in mind, have a quiet and relaxed pre-Christmas season and I look forward to your feedback
