Description

It's time for the new inventory to go. I went on an hours long adventure killed a few players.. scouted a few bases and came back to my stash with a saw, a hatchet and maybe a few mags. It has simply ruined looting. Yes, as a freshy you have to prioritize more. As a geared player you might as well just leave your gear at your stash and start new because otherwise your not going to make any progress. The old inventory actually made sense for the game. Three camo nettings perfectly fit the medium bags and so did 3 radiators and 3 spark plugs. It was made for convenience in mind and for a freshy finding bigger and better clothing really meant business unlike now. I don't see a reason to play anymore, considering I can't make real progress on my base unless I kill my character.

It feels like a middle finger to the face after you guys said that "we would barely notice".

You could logically fit three jerrycans in an Alice backpack or two wheels and some extra items. I run with a maxed out character at all times (best gear) and I miss having a ton extra room because of well prioritization. I would leave base with bandages, a knife, a compass, food and maybe each kind of repairing kit for clothing and firearm(s). I really miss leaving base without a backpack and still having the room to collect a reasonable amount of items. Keeping my character looking like an operator or special ops and of course having the smaller silhouette. I personally don't know if any official players would run a ghillie suit anymore.

Reduced inventory capacity might make sense for the Sahal map, where people can test their strength in specific conditions. However, on the Chernarus map, the current inventory capacity makes it impossible to make forays to replenish your supplies at the base or in secret caches.

Before:
You go on a long journey, find a large backpack, collect a lot of different stuff in it, and very slowly try to carry it back to your base so that you don’t get killed on the way back, since your stamina is minimal. This makes sense both for someone who carries a lot of loot, since he will replenish his supplies at the base, and for those who hunt for such “loot with legs”, since you can quickly replenish your supplies.

Now:
All your things cannot hold any standard 27-slot weapon, and your backpack only holds one weapon and a few small things for survival on the road. Wherever you go, you won't be able to bring home loot, since there's practically no room for anything in your pockets. You can take a good weapon, but you'll use it on the way home, and not to hide it for the future.

I agree with the idea that it is now impossible to make progress in the game.
I would like to see a revision of the capacity of things in the direction of increasing the capacity, since not everyone plays in teams and does not have the opportunity to use cars to transport cargo.
