Description

The problem manifests intermittently once there is an attachment hierarchy of 4 levels and affects other players besides myself. Sometimes it occurs immediately after login, while other times it only appears after playing for a few minutes.

Steps To Reproduce
  • Log in with item spawning powers or DayZDiag_x64.exe.
  • Spawn any item that will accept more than 3 items being attached in succession (ex.: PlateCarrierVest).
  • Recursively add attachments until you have at least a 4 level depth item hierarchy (ex.: PlateCarrierVest < PlateCarrierHolster < LongHorn < PistolOptic). All items must be items that will be visible when they are attached (a.k.a attachment proxies).
  • Observe the items as "world objects" or from a 3rd person perspective (default key binding v).
Additional Information

The issue persists regardless of graphics settings, especially when items are visualized as a third-person or "world object" (non-view_pilot LOD). Restarting the game may temporarily resolve the issue for a short period of time. Note that the problem also affects the character visualized in the main menu.
