The direct join should allow the use of hostnames which can be far more friendly.
ie, instead of a numeric IP, with a simple A record we should be able to setup something like server1.myreforgergroup.com

An expansion of this could be that direct connect doesn't directly connect, but instead displays all servers on the domain (If it can).
So a simple "myreforgergroup.com" is sufficient to list all servers of a group.
This would also partially solve the issue with "fake servers" having the same name as popular servers. If you can quickly filter by domain and find all servers of a community.
This would however require that the backend knows the servers domain. So it would need to be configured in server config, and the backend would need to verify that the domain matches the servers IP.
