DayZ EU - DE 1260 often performance issues

Dear team,

I moved from Multiplay servers to the DE 1260 server and see constant issues with the server performance when amount of active players is 20+.
Please check server logs and perform required adjustments to improve the performance.
I don't know what exactly the issue, but I presume one of the following actions (or a few of them) can help:

  • Increase CPU/RAM;
  • Move to faster storage (SSD?);
  • Make the server restart more often (now it once ot twice per day);
  • Other actions you should be aware of to improve the performance of your product.

Just wait for a peak time (20:00 CET and later ) when about 20 active players are connected to the server.

They drop multiplay servers and switch to unplayable nitrado servers. All official DE server is a unusable crap now, so congratulation BI team.
I have self hosted almost vanilla servers but everybody wanna playing modded or official servers so now i playing alone because official servers are nuts and my servers are empty.

Any update from the support team?

Why there is no official comment on this?
It's impossible to play on any of official DE-servers if there are 20+ online players.

Not sure what server you play on, but on EU - DE 1297 the performance problem was fixed.

There should be a way how to fix it for all servers.
How many players are usually on prime-time on DE 1297?

I don't want to move as I'm already settled down on my server...

Currently de3536 exp is lagging an i also play de 8112 , server restarts are 3x in 24hrs i made a ticket in october 23 to say these need adjusting . 8 hour restarts are no good , it needs to be set at 6 hours , also the players are skipping even after a restart at full pop so the server cannot handle the player count i assume , its either a server network issue or the server just isnt good enough . The devs playtested de3536 a few days ago so i hope they came across the issues that everybody are having . I think the 6 hour restarts would only solve the yellow/red server icon stuff , but there is still an issue at full pop which makes me think its not server fps related as it happens just after a restart

I think the server hardware needs a good looking at tbh , as the game is getting updates on a regular basis it maybe causing the server to do more work and on the current hardware it just isnt good enough to run 60 pop .

@Airinen the server is usually completely full (60 players), and so far I haven't experienced any issues with performance. In the past though the performance was a disaster as well.
