Something similar to what Arma 3 has is needed. There are so many stances and other things that affect player like the possibility to rest a weapon and so on. And before someone makes the argument, stance indicator is not unrealistic. It just allows the player information that is available in real life by other means than sight. Like everyone knows whether they are standing or crouching even with their eyes closed.

- walking speed selection

New feature to be considered. Ambient noise indicator. For example a helicopter's engine is so loud that the game cannot accurately present that when compared to quiet noises like footsteps so the game actually does not produce loud enough engine noise and because of that other sounds are (or should be) toned down when something very loud is making sound close to the player. So a simple indicator in the screen would show how much the quiet noises are toned down so the inability to hear footsteps is not a suprise.
