1. Join an official Bohemia ARMA Reforger server

2. While walking forward (preferably towards a base infiltrated with lots of hostile trigger happy enemy), look through the scope of an M16, then look left and right, and again back through the scope.

3. Take heed of the lack of 3D view ability, or an extreme lack of sense of awareness to surroundings while looking left and right in 3D, then look back through the scope. Again, taking heed of the finicky mouse clicks and keyboard key presses.

I have already slightly modified the scope intensity, slightly reducing or by half value. Still likely needs further reduction.

3D view is already set to maximum, and still significantly feels like I'm walking inside of a metal 50 gallon drum, only aware of a couple of feet around my body, while in real life, we tend to have an awareness of ~50-100 feet, or more.

TrackIR support for head leaning may also help alleviate the finicky key presses.

Even with all of the above suggestions, still going to have some finicky key pressing sequences.
