Upon opening a map for the second and subsequent times, the map view does not tend to open at prior area or magnified area on map.

Most times the area of the map displayed upon key press 'm', seems to be some random location, and/or un-magnified area from the previous opening.

Really irritating we have to more aggressively repeatedly mouse click and mouse scroll, each time we open the map using the 'm' key!
