I was marked as killed, but I did not die and I could not respawn. Exiting to main menu in the game helped.

I could not reproduce it either. Three days ago (just before the 1.1 update) I had the same issue. I also heard from 1 person that they had the same problem.
Let's change the status to resolved for now.
