Official Servers Unreachable 0x00001001 (w/ work around)

Description

Official servers are unreachable from my region.

I'm on the west coast US. When attempting to connect to any official server the user gets error 0x00001001

I am able to ping the IP address successfully, but client is unable to connect to the server.

Attempting to connect to a community server results in a successful connection.

I believe that there may be a bad gateway refusing the connection.

EDIT -
Work around:
Using Wndows File Explorer. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ
Right click on the program DayZ_BE and "Run as Administrator" (or just run program)
Game Launches.
Select your server.
Enjoy.

It should be noted that for the past 10 days I have been playing Tarkov. (Not quite as fun of an experience as I had hoped) When I launched the DayZ launcher, BattleEye did want to have access to my system, which I allowed. This was unexpected, but I'm not familiar with BattleEye's methodology. Some of the methodologies BattleState game employ, in my opinion, could be unsafe and could be exploited via HTTP/S. So, I may have been infected somehow, but highly unlikely..

I have been able to connect to an Official server via the launcher. Can mark as closed.
