I thought this was just a weird thing with my game but i asked others and they have the same issue.
Any other setting persists and saves.
Aiming sensitivity, horizontal and vertical, both do not persist after game exit. Camera sensitivity does persist.

Steps To Reproduce
Enter options, doesnt matter if in-game or in menus.
Set aiming sensitivity vertical & horizontal to something other than defaults. Apply.
Exit the game, and re enter the game.
The setting will have reverted to defaults.

I've had the same issue for the first 3-4 times I started up the latest 1.23 stable client. Somehow it fixed itself after I had not only adjusted the mouse settings but also some keyboard settings at the same time.

Does this persist even if you delete the documents Dayz folder? (Also make sure Steam cloud sync is disabled).
