The ability to toggle supply consumption at arsenals is broken. Even if you toggle it off, it will still consume supplies. I’ve also noticed the resupply packs are very inconsistent in GM, half the time it won’t recognize supplies if you’re off base and you aren’t able to quickly resupply others with certain items. The rank system also seems to be in GM but it’s broken, for example you can’t build a helipad or certain structures since it required a rank of sergeant, except you can’t actually reach the rank of sergeant in GM modes.

Those are two separate issues
1)The option to disable supply consumption is under Support Structure > Enable supplies and needs to be set to No to make the items not cost supplies.
- There is a known issue that sometimes the arsenal needs to have the supplies available but won't consume them
- The rank restrictions issue is known to us and the fix is being worked on.
This supply system messed up the whole point of making simple missions and using weapon mods.
Don’t ruin a good concept by forcing somehting used in a game base mode into the entire game system.
Before the supply stuff I could just run a combat ops mission on my server and if you add for example the m4 or m110 weapon mods , the weapons just shows up in the arsenal crate.
Now they do show up, but you cannot pick them up since they require supplies.
Same when you run gamemaster mode and have something like the m4 mod active. You cannot pick it out of the arsenal because of it.
There should be a simple way to just disable this system for people running missions.
From what I’ve experienced, even after turning off consumption it will still sometimes consume supplies. And for the resupply pack is that connected to the arsenals supply consumption? I haven’t had much luck using the resupply pack in Gm
In GM you can place a supply point near an arsenal in order to be able to pick up weapons from a mod that requires supplies.
I understand the supply system, but there should be a way to turn it of (maybe server side) when running a mission.
For the dev :
-Enable for example the M4 mod from Bacon
-Start a Combat Ops mission
-Try picking an M4 from the Arsenal box.
Impossible with the current support system!
There should be a simple way to disable this support system when you want to run a mission without having to modify or edit a mission!
Before the support system I could enable for example the M4 mod, AI mod etc on my server and run a default combat ops mission.
This way you can pick your own loadout from the arsenal box.
As this is what I like to play almost exclusively, after they added the support system I don't play anymore since I cannot play the way I want to play.
This cannot be the idea of an ArmA title.

I completely agree with you. The toggle supply consumption feature at arsenals is definitely broken. Even when it's turned off, supplies are still being consumed. The inconsistency with resupply packs in GM is frustrating too, especially when they don’t recognize supplies off base. Additionally, the rank system in GM is flawed. You can't build certain structures because reaching the rank of sergeant is impossible in this mode .
