Sound dampening when using map too often
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

When I have map factor volume turned down, I drive a vehicle and open map multiple times after each other, the map dampening causes the entire game volume to reduce volume, the more I spam it, the lower the volume goes.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Open audio settings and set Map Factor all the way down
  2. Open editor and create playable unit in any driveable vehicle
  3. Play as the driver, drive around and listen to the engine volume
  4. Keep opening and closing map until you no longer can hear the engine
  5. Observe audio outside of the map, everything is reduced (even your own gunfire)
Additional Information

Workaround for this is not having map factor reduced, however for person who opens map often and uses TFAR radio to comunicate, the sounds can get bit disruptive.

Hi. Found this exactly same problem when set "map factor" bar setting left.
In vehicle you open and close map many times, all 3D sounds get silence and not reset back.
After this problem, if you set "map factor" bar right, 3D sounds volume work opposite when open and close map.

Only happens when you really spam it. Opening the map while the fade-in from closing the map isn't done yet.
