[EXP 1.0.0.29] The nights are way too bright now
Waiting for feedback from reporter, NormalPublic

Description

In one of the recent experimental updates we have received a gamemaster setting for brighter nights, yet at the same time the default nights were made so bright that setting basically becomes obsolete. Please return the dark nights and let people choose to have a brighter night through the setting! Right now no matter what you do they will be very bright.

Default - Dark Nights
Bright Night Setting - Bright Nights

I've noticed this myself. Was trying to do tests of the lighting and couldn't get it dark enough.

agreed on this nights are far to bright now making driving with lights on or using flashlights basically unnecessary.

i agree with the task creator. For ArmA, we want truly immersive gunfights/ engagements, and now with these brighter nights some of that immersion is just broken. Why do helicopters even have spotlights if we can already see well without them? Please, revert back to darker nights.

I think an in-game gamma adjustment setting needs to be added. Or at least a calibration screen of some sort.
With the previous versions of Reforger, for me, nights got too dark, so I adjusted my computer monitor so in the darkest of nights I could just barely see. Just on the threshold to be able to see infront of me and not be stuck trying to navigate with a literal black screen.

So with the nights now being brighter, they're way to bright for me. I'm sure if a readjusted my monitor I could make it more immersive, more acceptable.
But I'd be doing so completely arbitrarily. So having a brightness calibration in-game, I feel would help.
