I guess it's an issue that is being experienced by other games on Xbox that have native m&k support. Games like State of Decay 2, Cyberpunk, Sea of Thieves, Flight Simulator, and others. It could be a system-wide issue. I posted on the Series X subreddit and the post was met with resistance with users there insisting it is a DayZ issue only. The post was eventually stricken. Mods state it was a support post. I tried framing it as a growing issue of concern throughout the Xbox ecosystem but it wasn't enough to satisfy the support post rule on the subreddit.

Same thing happening to me too. I have tried everything people have suggested and nothing works, not even temporarily. I hope they get a fix for this soon or I will not be playing Dayz anymore.

but it doesnt work with melee? i have to hold rmb then press lmb for it to lock in place then i can attack with the melee weapon. that part doesnt seem intentional very counter intuitive

I also am having issues with my mnk not working and need some kind of relief or feedback on how to fix this. This is quite ridiculous. I haven’t played controller in a year and can’t even enjoy my favorite game, Day Z, completely without this being fixed.

Same, but I have some.... sorta work-arounds.

I've been having an issue where if I hold right-click to ready fists/weapon, when I left-click, nothing happens. Work-around I found is if I tap right-click super quick and release, and than spam left I can get melee spam to work. Or if I quick tap right-click with a weapon to goto ADS, than I can shoot. Its almost like theres something wrong where you cant hold both buttons at same time for combat. However left-click works fine in everything else as far as interacting, or managing inventory.

I tried my controller, it was the same issue with triggers for combat (fists/weapon). However I found a firmware update was available, and now the controller works fine, but the issue continues to persist with keyboard and mouse.

Already tried swapping servers, & re-installing the game, issue persists.

Also: i hooked the corsair keyboard & mouse up to my PC, updated firmware. Hooked up to Xbox Series X, and issue continues to persist.

Same issue mouse left click doesn't punch or shoot right click brings up hands but no punch upon LC input. Controller works as intended. I need mouse and keyboard.

Same thing in here, wanted to try the new patch on experimentals but I wasn't able to punch zombies or shoot weapons at all, It works for everything else like eating, inside the inventory etc., even to suicide with an IJ70 no problem, but not for throwing punches or pull the trigger.

It is interesting though that the button is not like completely not working. For example, I can drag items in my inventory. Also if I aim using controller I can fire my guns using left mouse button.

Thank you. We are still investigating but it seems the issue lies possibly elsewhere. We are working closely with microsoft support in order to fix this

@Geez looks like it’s not a DayZ problem at all. LMB in the State of Decay isn’t working too. And it only happens when RMB is pressed.

I think it’s a Xbox issue bc it doesn’t work on sea of thieves either

Well. I’ve reinstalled the game and the problem disappeared.

Also so y’all don’t waste time I already uninstalled and completely reset my console and it doesn’t fix it

i dont see why someone at xbox isnt running a diagnostic on the current state of console mouse drivers. its so obvious thats the issue i told them this like a month ago and they didnt listen. xbox support keeps getting worse and worse cant even phone them anymore about hardware issues its a joke.

I've been on two Xbox subreddits expressing that this issue is a system wide issue. One of the subreddits downvoted the hell out of my and deleted my post despite posting overwhelming evidence and another subreddit downvoted my post and replies and ignored it. They refuse to acknowledge this widespread issue.

Here is a solution that seems to work 100% so far:

• While playing DayZ press the Windows button on the Keyboard

• Go into a single player game that has been quick resumed.

• Play around with the game a bit with a controller (Don't know if this is necessary)

• Press the Windows button again and then open DayZ.

You should now be in the "A" prompt title screen. Sign in, join your server, and your MnK should work again.

It's obvious the issue is with the Quick Resume feature. Hope Xbox fixes it.

Common just read the review history if u want it fixed now install and join the insider Programm or do the temporary fix of loading up dayZ going into another game and quick resuming back to dayZ

I am also having this issue on PC. I have verified files on Steam, reinstalled, and tried windows key option. Nothing seems to be helping. Any advice?
