I tested a bunch of weapons and I found the cyclic rates of fire are mostly wrong.
All weapons seem to be limited to 450 and 600 rpm, which is the same problem from DayZ where weapon firing event was limited to 30 Hz intervals.
The wiki on armedassault.fandom.com lists these weapons as having their correct rates of fire. This is what I found from testing the actual rate of fire for these game weapons on my PC.
Weapon | In-game tested cyclic rate |
M60 | 450 rpm |
M249 | 600 rpm |
M16A2 | 600 rpm |
PKM | 600 rpm |
AK74 | 600 rpm |
SA-58V | 600 rpm |
PKT | 600 rpm |
KPVT | 600 rpm |
This is what the approximate fire rates should be according to specifications.
Weapon | Real cyclic rate |
M60 | 550 rpm |
M249 | 725 rpm |
M16A2 | 750 rpm |
PKM | 650 rpm |
AK74 | 650 rpm |
SA-58V | 800 rpm |
PKT | 750 rpm |
KPVT | 575 rpm |
