The hip pack should be 8 slot instead of 6, It has the main hip pack compartment and the smaller zipper compartment on the front of the hip pack. It just seems a bit too small.

I disagree personally. The inventory in dayz is very forgiving already, you can have a huge amount of slots very easily. And the hip pack is basically just an extra 6 slots for free ontop of all that.
The difference between 6 and 8 isn't huge but 6 is more appropriate and better balanced imo.
