basically whenever i try to launch the game through launcher it keeps saying "unable to locate instance of steam running" but i can also see in the logs that it said " Blocked loading of file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\version.dll'"

Branch: main / beta branch not specified
1: open launcher through steam
2: click play and go to battle eye category
3: then will say "unable to locate instance of steam running"

Have you tried to restart your computer? Have you tried to restart or reinstall steam?
I have this problem also...I have reinstalled DayZ many times and still get the same problem, Someone on steam proposed a solution but i do not know which file this person is stating I was wondering if anyone here knows where this file is.
