I feel like this is a MUST for DayZ official vanilla. And from what I've tested, it works brilliantly, with some very minor tweaks of course.

At this point I feel like dropping items on the ground is getting stale. I mean sure, if you're dumping a large quantities of items, but for a single item, feels kind of silly. Handing out a single item feels so good... Like a weapon, or a food, water, a box of ammo, a barrel, a log, etc....It's very, very immersive.

Please consider this for the base game. Thanks.
