If you got to download mod before joining a server, you won't be able to move or do any interaction once in the game. You'll need to restart the game completly and rejoin the server.
This happens every time you join a server for the first time and have to download the mods requires.

It should be easy to reproduce on any community server you never played on and that has mandatory mods to be downloaded.
