I just shot the pig from 500m with mosin. If you watched Brooklyn99 then you know with wthat intotation Gina spoke, imagine that intonation. "She didn't die", one shot to the side (belly) and she moved away. Never shoot animals, unless you're strugling without food. I just wanted to check the aim, well, in this game everything is perfect with ballistic. But 7.62x54 is the biggest caliber in the game (along with .308 CARL!!!!), and bare aminal didn't die from 500m distance... Not talking about the player with Platecarrier (and a chainmail on which is gonna be new tank meta for sure). So guys, PLEAS, ADD SOME BIGGER CALIBER. .338/408/50BMG, don't care. Make some single long range sniper rifle, make it super-super-super-super-super-super-super rare (same with bullets), don't care, but please make it. Make it bolt action longer reload so it will be useless on short distances, like M70 or Savana, or Mosin. As I said before, long range sniping is dead atm. You already have killer 40mm HE rounds that can bury 5ppl squad with a single shot if those will too close to each other, and if you know where to look you'll find M79 and 40mm HE very easily (yes you'll spend time to get south but still). And sniping on 400+ meters.... it makes me wanna cry. Please do something about it.

I personally think super high caliber snipers should stay on modded, militarized servers. I don't like the idea of them in the standalone, aka more survival version. M79 is very rare and has several drawbacks ( self dmg and imprecision when it comes to ranging at bigger distances )
friendly reminder, when you're submitting stuff to feedback tracker, please enter the problem or the issue in the title so devs can easily refer to it. "guys, please" means absolutely nothing. Also on which version of dayz did you experience it. Is it experimental or standalone , and which system ( pc, xb or ps ) was it on. It's important because there could be several factors causing it. From server performance to messed values in the game files. Be as specific as you can. for example, was it a pig , or a wild boar animal ? because I just had a wild boar tank a crossbow bolt on experimental from 50m. So wild boars might have higher HP ( which makes sense ).
