Description

Hi heard player use "brightnes" cheat" to overcome the dark of the nights.
The one i heard was about changing the "brightness" and "contrast" in the "nVidia control panel". It is something called "Régler les paramètres de couleur du bureau" in French, we should translate into something like "Set desktop color parameters".

I know you had a specific "anti-brightness cheat" in DayZ. Is it in action in Reforger ? Does it take into account these kind of color settings ?
Would appreciate anything that could render the night worse when someone try to alter the brightness on the client side.

The anti brightness cheat is already in the game, however we are aware that there could be optimalisations done as there have been changes to the night brightness since the implementation

Apparently its easier for XBox users because they can use their TV settings so those players can see reasonably well in the dark. What would REALLY be great is if we had illumination flares and base building floodlights. Both of these would add great atmosphere and maybe players wouldn't feel the need to resort to cheating. Another solution for Reforger game modes is always make night time some level of moon lit visibility by default
