Throw a grenade, the smoke generated by the explosion won't block the view of an AI (i guess it should act the same if it was the smoke from an AT blast explosion ?)
Haven't tried smoke grenade on AI, hope they work as intended with "view blockers"

In another test run today, i've tried the smoke grenade. It does the job but 2 minors glitch i noted.
One time, i used a grenadier weapon while there was smoke between the AI & me, and someshow she shot right on me through the smoke. Yes she probably aimed at the position where she "heard" the grenade propelled from the rifle.. but it was clearly too accurate to be "realistic".
You have to be "close" to the smoke & AI have to be close too, but still clear of the smoke spread on both side.
So maybe those "see through smoke" can also be related to proximity of the smoke between AI & player ?
I had hard time to reproduce after installing a video capture tool.
The other test i've tried with bullet, the AI didn't shoot, investigate by moving through the smoke but react very lately. I could largely see her moving in front of me at 2-3m distance and she will not see me until she clearly cleared the smoke range completly (and she missed a shot at nearly point blank when in situation with bigger distance she can one shot you even after 0.5 sec after vaulting an obstacle)
