I personally feel as if the handcuffs can be a neglected feature of the game, handcuffs and handcuff keys were used a lot in the legacy game due to them being the only way to tie a player up but also due to how quickly and effectively they could prohibit a player from moving and to keep them locked up for a while.

I understand there is multiple ways of tying up a player via rope, wire, barbed wire etc and I do think the idea of barbed wires cutting the player when they break free is a great idea. I just feel as if the time to breakout of the handcuffs is done too quickly. I did a test with badly damaged handcuffs and it took me 20 seconds roughly to break out, I also did a test with damaged barbed wire and it took roughly the same amount of time. I think a clear difference in time to break out of whatever was used to tie you up with needs to be a thing to encourage players to take handcuffs over the other options for tying up players but this is ultimately up to the player.

You can punch the player breaking out to reset the animation however I think there needs to be more, increasing the time of the handcuffs could also give the captors more time to escape rather than sprinting for 20 seconds to quickly get out of the area. This is a game and there needs to be balacned but I think roughly around the 2 minute mark is a good area of balance to set it to. This would also promote the idea of players taking handcuff keys so they can quickly get the handcuffs back.

honestly

headcuffs deserve realism of strict locked-ness

give it 5 minutes of being stuck in it, and the timer requiring a punch once in 5 minutes.

2 mins is really low still for the product that cuffs are

theres 0 loss in having it 5 minutes, only gain in good game scenarios
