If you hold your breath while ADS then release ADS before releasing hold breath you will not exhale until you attempt to aim again.

-Hold Right Mouse Button
-ADS Button
-Hold Breath Button
-Release Right Mouse Button
-At this point you should hear an "Exhale Sound"....Run around for as long as you want to.....
-Hold Right Mouse Button and listen
