So I was just about to change to a raincoat because it was raining, and when I put my regular jacket on the ground, it instantly disappeared.
I had items such as guns ammo and such.

I've also tried relogging several times, and checked vincinity in a large area around where I stood.

Did you swap with the raincoat, directly drag the raincoat from the ground to your body?

No, I tried to place my jacket on the ground, then it disappeared.
