i get 0x00040004 disconnect errors, its been happening for a few years, its on every server, modded or not, including vanilla servers
i have a great internet connection, so thats not the issue

This error points towards your network timing out. Therefore there has to be an issue with your network or some sort of problem in the communication between your client and the server.

I’m thinking it’s an issue server wide because so many of us are having the exacta same issue it can’t be a one off. I haven’t been able to connect for a few weeks to a month.
