Game minimizes only while in combat
Reviewed, NormalPublic

Description

This bug/error only happens when in combat (mostly hand-to-hand melee combat).

Example: Zombie sees me and starts running to me. I select a weapon (or not) and press and hold RMB to engage the weapon. Then I press LMB to do a strike. And then almost always the game minimizes to desktop so I have to click on the icon to get back to the game. Meanwhile I get damaged/hit resulting in bleeding and so on. This happens with NPC and human controled characters.

But! I cannot reproduce this while not in combat! So lets say I'm alone somewhere and I do exactly the same things the game won't minimize.

Hello Dolenc990.
Is it possible that you are pressing one of the following shortcuts by accident? https://www.digitalcitizen.life/minimize-maximize-apps-windows/

Regards,
Geez

Hello! No. It does look like pressing Alt+Tab but I dont have fingers there. I did try this out and it happens only with mouse clicks...

Dolenc, try to make sure your viewing mode in the settings is on "fullscreen" and not "windowed" , then try to replicate this bug again.

Hello! I checked, it was set on "Windowed". I will try to replicate the bug in "Fullscreen" setting.

Hello! Looks like it is working now. Thanks!

Nice! Glad to hear it mate

Hello! Ok so I played the game a little. Fighting zombies works fine, but when I fight real players it still goes to desktop...

Hmm okay that is strange. Personally I have never heard of this bug (and I play a LOT of dayz) ...it sounds like it could be something on your end rather than a game bug, maybe you have some kind of custom keybind for switching to desktop or some button on your keyboard you are hitting by mistake? Other than that I would recommend the standard "verify your game files and if that doesn't work, reinstall the game" procedure....usually this will fix like 90% of dayz issues (from a players perspective, I'm not a dev or anything)

Ok so I deleted the Logitech mouse software and it looks like it is working now. I'll come back if this doesnt help
