After reverting the TI changes from 210 back to 208 while keeping the new manually-adjustable contrast parameters, I recommend all possible goggle thermal imaging in Arma 3 have their field of view dramatically limited and hard-coded (that is, not easily alterable by mods simply removing some black screen mask) to a square central area of the screen that is the width that the screen resolution is tall or even smaller of an area... not dissimilar to the ENVG-B, though not necessarily circular. A slightly smaller square than the full height of a 16:9 screen would be acceptable. Black screen masks like on the ENVG-B could still overlay and cover the corners further.
I recommend that all NV (LLTV and phosphor tubes rather than TI) modes for goggles be limited to a hard maximum FOV of 16:9 or lower (personally, I think 16:9 is sufficient restriction), even on the Viper helmet. Obviously the ENVG-B and older NV-only goggles should remain their even smaller FOVs.
