Many items attached to equipment or inside clothes that already dried completely from sitting next to a fire for an extended amount of time stay damp
Reviewed, NormalPublic

Description

It's annoying and bad UX that you have to dismantle and put everything on the ground in order for it to dry completely. If you have your rifle on your back, the rifle might be dry, but it's individual parts like the buttstock, handguard, suppressor stay damp, even when dismantled and put on the ground explicitly for an extended amount of time.

Items like knives inside of sheaths, batteries from inside walkie talkies, etc. should just dry as soon or at least shortly after the item containing it has dried, in order to minimize inventory-management. Especially annoying when sitting next to a fire with multiple people, as people tend to confuse their items, or even take advantage of taking things out of containers not being represented by an animation in order to steal from people.
