Reviewed, NormalPublic

Description

Hi once i get into the game menu the game crashes and i get this error:
exit code 0xc0000005_status_access violation

I have the game installed on a micro sd card. I have tried reinstalling and verifying the game files.
I have also tried running the game in 32 bit mode, changing launch options to -malloc=system and -profiles=Profiles. I have also tried trying all the different memory allocator settings for 64bit and 32bit and have tried uninstalling all mods.

Hello,
have you tried the solutions listed on this page? https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3:_Unusual_process_exit#0xC0000005_-_ACCESS_VIOLATION

(Also even though its usage should be quite transparent, Steam Deck is not officially supported for Arma 3 as far as I know).

Hi,
Yes I've tried all those things on that link and they hav'nt changed anything.

Im using windows on the steam deck so im guessing it should work fine ?

the txt file you provided is apparently a launcher crash; can you provide fresh RPTs of the game crash please?

ah sorry, can you provide the memory dump file along? C:\Users\Perry\AppData\Local\Arma 3\Arma3_2022-07-31_18-51-21.mdmp
and eventually all other files from this datetime. This will be useful for problem analysis

Please look at this RPT file as the other one is a windows 10 version after I tried revererting back to see if that changes anything , sadly it made no difference.

Sorry if this is a inconvenience.

Here are the windows 11 RPT and the other files:
