When you pull out a jerry can, drink from it (not necessary i suppose), and holster it back into the inventory, it sometimes locks the hands from interaction ability,
cant drop, take or interact.
When I relog, I spawn with that same jerrycan held in my hands, which prior I holstered back into the inventory, which caused the hands freeze.
Take out jerry can, do something with it, holster it back. Locked hands. Relog, jerry can is in hands.
Or specifically...
Take jerry can for water purposes, drink from it, refill it in pump, holster it back into the belonging slot, hands are locked, cant interact.
relog and jerry can is in hands as you spawn.
Playing on a modded server, with jerry cans being untouched in the modified server.

it seems that when you put the jerrycan back in the inventory then as fast as you can interact with another container dragging it to hands,
the game goes confusion and this glitched invisible yet in hands, yet shows in inventory in its spot, jerry can, glitches the game, forcing a relog.
It seems to happen often and as far as Ive experienced it by now, ONLY by the water pump, after refilling the entire jerry can, then dragging it back, and quick trying to grab another container to hands, the lock occurs.
Still hard to say exactly, but as of now, this is 100% of my cases. After refilling a jerry can by the pump at elektro, then sliding it back from hands to character (aka back into the inventory) then very fast interacting with another container, dragging it into hands, then the game goes confusion.
Rejoining server... Jerrycan is in hands.

You can see that I tried after it occurs, all the softlock dayz solutions, G for throw, jumping in spot, dropping.
None worked.
