I start the launcher, check the mods (RHSGREF, RHSUSAF, RHSAFRF - Just these 3) as soon as the game launches and I select "new game" it begins rendering the map and crashes. This has happened on multiple Antistasi mods.

You only have 8GB of Ram, that may be a problem, especially when you start loading mods.

Increase your swap file size or delete some files from your hard disk

Increasing your pagefile size (google will find guides on doing so) might help, but its likely that you simply don't have enough Ram.
