There is script command that allows to hide chat messages, without a repro Im just going to guess it is executed somehow

Got same issue, but with STR.
I launch SOG Prairie Fire first time. Change difficulty to SOG (Recruit). Join MP server, play for hour.
Then back to vanilla game. Connect MP server - and my UI and difficulty settings was completely messed. Load UI and difficulty profile, relaunch game several time - still mess. Smth working, smth like Chat box - no.
How to fix - create new profile.

One other thing is it will hide chat in multiplayer if Stream Friendly UI is enabled in game options

Thanks for advice, will try. Is this option removes only Chat box, or custom drowning from scripts also?
